Description
The highest point of this area is at 2850 metres and it forms the link with Tignes.
Bellevarde is a triangular mountain with slopes facing three different directions and offering a wide range of skiing.
- East facing slopes: Facing the resort, these slopes are often very steep, therefore reserved for the good skier. Only the Santons offers an intermediate descent (check whether open or closed)
- South / South West facing slopes: The upper part is mainly easy skiing. The slopes become steeper lower down
- West / North West facing slopes: These slopes offer an excellent view of the Grande Motte, Grande Casse and the Mont Blanc. This area includes many long and gentle slopes which all lead to La Daille
Connections
- From La Daille: the resort centre may be reached by the Train Rouge free shuttle service
- To Tignes: the Tommeuses and Borsat chairlifts.
