Val
d'Isere is one of the world's premier ski resorts. Boasting
some of the best skiing in the world, a super slick lift system
and a snow record which affords one of the longest alpine seasons,
Val has a reputation as a skiers resort.
Many of the world's best have cut their teeth in the Espace Killy
and the cutting edge of performance to be found in Val through
the decades is still very much alive today.
Coupled with that is a lively town in which the several thousand
British seasonnaires who work in Val regularly party in the town's
many bars and nightclubs.
Val d'Isere has it all and the rest is what you make it!

And off the Slopes....
For party animals or those who just want to have a quiet after-skiing drink, Val d'Isère offers a large selection of bars and pubs.
To start off the evening with a quiet drink you can always try the Boubou bar (look out for the locals...), The XV Pub, Tropique (caribbean atmosphere), St Hubert, Alexandra (for a game of pool) or why not try out a hotel bar like the Blizzard or Pierre Paul Jack.
Moving things along, if you are more into the english scene, try the "Happy hours" down the Pacific Bar, Ice Teas (no pun intended!) at the Saloon or at the Moris Pub (great live bands).
Had a couple of cheeky ones by now and feel like Sweden and Denmark are calling you..? Check out the Petit Danois or Victor's (Swedish girls & boys everywhere...) and take advantage of the two for one cocktails until 10pm.
Strut your stuff on the tables!... at The Lodge, Bananas, Café Face.
A sea of good looking people......
By now life is looking rosy, but a night wouldn't be complete without a stop at one of the resort's nightclubs : Le Graal, the new french scene and Dick's Tea Bar where you are better off speaking english or swedish.
.....That just leaves the Tocade for a kebab or burger on the way home.
